Sturdi-built Greenhouses uses top grade clear, all heart redwood for our greenhouse kits. Heart redwood is important because it is naturally resistant to deterioration. Lower quality grades of redwood, with streaks of white or almost all white, are not nearly as rot resistant. All redwood is not equal. With a small amount of maintenance, our clear all heart redwood greenhouses can last several decades.
